Itinerary
Day 01: Mumbai
Arrival in Mumbai, on arrival transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight in the hotel in Mumbai. Afternoon half-day sightseeing tour of the city visiting Gateway of India, Colaba Causeway, St. John's Church, Prince of Wales Museum, Jehangir Art Gallery, Flora Fountain, Tower of Silence and the open-air laundry. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Mumbai - Goa
After breakfast, a full day local city tour of Mumbai covering Gateway of India, Colaba Causeway, St. John's Church, Prince of Wales Museum, Jehangir Art Gallery, Flora Fountain and Tower of Silence, later transfer to airport to board the flight to Goa. On arrival transfer to hotel. Check-in the hotel and overnight in the hotel at Goa.
Day 03: Goa
After breakfast, a full-day tour of North Goa covering the beach and other sightseeing. Overnight in the hotel Goa.
Day 04: Goa
After breakfast, a full-day tour of South Goa covering the beach and other sightseeing. Overnight in the hotel Goa.
Day 05: Goa
After breakfast, a city tour of Goa covering temples and churches. Overnight in the hotel Goa.
Day 06: Goa - Bangalore
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Bangalore. Arrive Bangalore. On arrival transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight in the hotel Bangalore.
Day 07: Bangalore Local
After breakfast, a full day local city tour of Bangalore covering Lal Bagh, M.G. Road, Lake, and other sightseeing. Overnight in the hotel in Bangalore.
Day 08: Bangalore - Mysore - 150 kms / 3/4 hrs drive
After breakfast, leave for Mysore. En-route visit Srirangapatnam - the 18th century Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan. On arrival, Check in the hotel, later in the afternoon visit the temple & the huge Nandi Bull on Chamundi Hill and evening visit market. Overnight in the hotel at Mysore.
Day 09: Mysore
After breakfast, visit the Mysore Palace, built by a British architect, Henry Irwin. Later in the evening visit Brindavan Garden ( 20 kms from Mysore), famous for their musical fountains. Colored footlights light up the shooting sprays that dance to accompanying music.
Day 10: Mysore - Ooty - 140 kms / 4/5 hrs drive
After breakfast, leave for Ooty, nestled in the Nilgiri Hills. On arrival, check-in the hotel. Later, evening at leisure. Overnight in the hotel at Ooty.
Day 11: Ooty
After breakfast, leave for a full day local city tour of Ooty and you can enjoy the most scenic walk into the dense forest, pretty mountains trails, Botanical Gardens, and the Ooty Lake. Overnight in the hotel at Ooty.
Day 12: Ooty - Coonoor
After breakfast, visit the tea plantations. Paragliding is optional. Overnight at Munnar.
Day 13: Ooty - Kodaikanal - 370 kms / 8/9hrs drive
After breakfast, leave for Kodaikanal en route visit beautiful views. On arrival check-in the hotel, evening at leisure and overnight in the hotel at Kodaikanal.
Day 14: Kodaikanal
After breakfast, leave for city tour covering Golf link, Lake, Coaker's Walk, Pillar Rocks, Silver Cascade Falls and Bear Shola Falls. Overnight the hotel at Kodaikanal.
Day 15: Kodaikanal - Madurai - 90 kms / 2/3 hrs drive
After breakfast, leave for Madurai. On arrival check-in the hotel. Later visit Meenakshi Temple, King Tirumala's Palace, Great Tank, and Gandhi Museum. Overnight in the hotel at Madurai.
Day 16: Madurai - Thekkady - 130 kms / 3/4 hrs drive
After breakfast, leave for Thekkady through the cardamom hills of Idukki. Check into the hotel. Later visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the largest wildlife reserves in India, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is more popular as a tiger reserve also visit Periyar Lake. The river Periyar is the longest river in Kerala. This is the only perennial river in South India with clean water. The river occupies an important place in the history of Kerala. In the Sangam age Tamil epics such as Chilapathikaram, ‘Akananuru’, ‘Purananuru’ etc much has been said about this mighty river, formerly known as the ‘Choorni Nadi’ or ‘Thamraparni Nadi’ (Sukasandesam –stanza 66). Evening at leisure and overnight in the hotel.
Day 17: Thekkady - Kumarakom - 120 kms / 3/4 hrs drive
After breakfast drive for Kumarakom, en route visit tea gardens and rubber plantations. On arrival check-in the hotel, evening at leisure and overnight in the hotel at Kumarkom.
Day 18: Kumarakom
After breakfast move to enjoy backwater cruise and overnight stay.
Day 19: Kumarakom - Cochin
After breakfast, leave for Kochi railway station or airport for your next destination.
