Itinerary
Day 01: Arriving Chennai
Arrive Chennai. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Chennai is known for its cultural heritage & temple architecture. Evening at leisure. Overnight in the hotel in Chennai.
Day 02: Chennai - Mahabalipuram - 70 kms / 1.5 hrs drive
After breakfast, leave for a local city tour of Chennai, covering Fort St. George, St Mary's Church, Fort Museum, SaintThome Cathedral, National Art Gallery, Government Museum. Later in the evening drive for Mahabalipuram, the town of temples, sand & sea. On arrival check-in the hotel and overnight in Mahabalipuram.
Day 03: Mahabalipuram - Local - Kanchipuram - 70 kms / 0.2 hrs drive
After breakfast, a full day local city tour of Mahabalipuram, covering Shore Temple, Arjuna's Penance, Rathas, later excursion tour to Kanchipuram (holy city), visit Kailasanatha Temple, Ekambaranatha Temple, Raj Gopuram Tower. Later come back to Mahabalipuram and overnight in the hotel at Mahabalipuram.
Day 04: Mahabalipuram - Tanjore - 310 kms / 6/7 hrs drive
After breakfast, drive for Tanjore also called the Rice Bowl of Tamil Nadu. On arrival check-in the hotel and later local city tour of covering Brihadeshwara Temple, (one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites) and another sight. Overnight in the hotel at Tanjore.
Day 05: Tanjore - Madurai - 200 kms / 4 hrs drive
After breakfast, drive for Madurai, en-route visit Trichurapalli, situated on the banks of Kaveri River is a blend of history and tradition as well as a pilgrim center, visit Ranganath Temple at Srirangam, later visit Rockfort most famed landmark. Later, drive for Madurai, a rich cultural heritage passed for more than 2500 years old & has been an important commercial center as early as 550 AD. It is the oldest city in Tamil Nadu & was originally known as Kadambavanam or the forest of Kadamba. Overnight in the hotel at Madurai.
Day 06: Madurai - Periyar - 130 kms / 3/4 hrs drive
After breakfast visits Meenakshi Temple, King Tirumala's Palace, Great Tank, and Gandhi museum and then drive for Periyar. Overnight in the hotel at Periyar.
Day 07: Periyar - Cochin - 190 kms / 4 hrs drive
Morning visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the largest wildlife reserves in India, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is more popular as a tiger reserve also visit Periyar Lake. The river Periyar is the longest river in Kerala. This is the only perennial river in South India with clean water. Later drive forCochin. On arrival check-in the hotel. Overnight in the hotel at Cochin.
Day 08: Cochin
After breakfast, leave for full day local city tour covering. Francis' Church, Dutch Palace, Jew Town, Synagogue, Spice Market, Chinese fishing nets. Later, the boat cruise tour is optional.
Day 09: Cochin - Mumbai
After breakfast, drive to the airport to board the flight to Goa. On arrival, transfer to hotel and check-in the hotel. Evening at leisure and overnight in the hotel at Goa.
Day 10 : Goa
After breakfast, a full day local city tour of North Goa. Overnight in the hotel at Goa.
Day 11 : Goa
After breakfast, a full day local city tour of South Goa. Overnight in the hotel at Goa.
Day 12 : Goa
After breakfast, a full day local city tour of Old Churches and overnight in the hotel at Goa.
Day 13 : Goa
Full day at leisure, overnight in the hotel at Goa.
Day 14 : Goa - Mumbai
After breakfast, transfer to airport to board the flight to Mumbai. On arrival check-in, the hotel and later visit local city tour of Mumbai covering Gateway of India, Marine Drive, and Juhu beach. Overnight in the hotel at Mumbai.
Day 15: Mumbai (Flight Back to Home)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight back home or for your next destination.
