Itinerary
Day 01 Bangalore
Arrive Bangalore. On arrival transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight in the hotel Bangalore.
Day 02 Bangalore Local
After breakfast, a full day local city tour of Bangalore covering Lal Bagh, M.G. Road, lake and other sightseeing. Overnight in the hotel in Bangalore.
Day 03 Bangalore - Mysore - 150 kms / 3/4 hrs drive
After breakfast, leave for Mysore. En-route visit Srirangapatnam - the 18th century Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan. On arrival, check-in the hotel, later in the afternoon visit the temple & the huge Nandi Bull on Chamundi Hill and evening visit market. Overnight in the hotel at Mysore.
Day 04 Mysore
After breakfast, visit the Mysore Palace, built by a British architect, Henry Irwin. Later in the evening visit Brindavan Garden (20 kms from Mysore), famous for their musical fountains. Colored footlights light up the shooting sprays that dance to accompanying music
Day 05 Mysore - Ooty - 140 kms / 4/5 hrs drive
After breakfast, leave for Ooty, nestled in the Nilgiri Hills. On arrival, check-in the hotel. Later, evening at leisure. Overnight in the hotel at Ooty.
Day 06 Ooty
After breakfast, leave for a full day local city tour of Ooty and you can enjoy the most scenic walk into the dense forest, pretty mountains trails, Botanical Gardens, and the Ooty Lake. Overnight in the hotel at Ooty.
Day 07 Ooty - Coonoor
After breakfast, enjoy the joy train to Coonoor. Overnight in the hotel at Ooty.
Day 08 Ooty - Kodaikanal - 370 kms / 8/9 hrs drive
After breakfast, leave for Kodaikanal en route visit beautiful views. On arrival check-in the hotel, evening at leisure and overnight in the hotel at Kodaikanal.
Day 09 Kodaikanal
After breakfast, leave for city tour covering Golf Link, Lake, Coakers Walk, Pillar Rocks, Silver Cascade Falls, and Bear Shola Falls. Overnight the hotel at Kodaikanal.
Day 10 Kodaikanal - Madurai - 90 kms / 2/3 hrs drive
After breakfast, leave for Madurai. On arrival check-in the hotel. Later visit Meenakshi Temple, King Tirumala's Palace, Great Tank, and Gandhi museum. Overnight in the hotel at Madurai.
Day 11 Madurai - Thekkady - 130 kms / 3/4 hrs drive
After breakfast, leave for Thekkady through the cardamom hills of Idukki. Check into the hotel. Later visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the largest wildlife reserves in India, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is more popular as a tiger reserve also visit Periyar lake. The river Periyar is the longest river in Kerala. This is the only perennial river in South India with clean water. The river occupies an important place in the history of Kerala. In the Sangam age Tamil epics such as Chilapathikaram, ‘ Akananuru&rsquo, ‘ Purananuru’ etc. much has been said about this mighty river, formerly known as the ‘ Choorni Nadi’ or ‘ Thamraparni Nadi’ (Sukasandesam – stanza 66). Evening at leisure and overnight in the hotel.
Day 12 Thekkady - Kumarakom - 120 kms / 3/4 hrs drive
After breakfast drive for Kumarakom, en route visit tea gardens and rubber plantations. On arrival check-in the hotel, evening at leisure and overnight in the hotel at Kumarkom.
Day 13 Kumarakom
After breakfast move to enjoy backwater cruise and overnight stay.
Day 14 Kumarakom - Kochi
After breakfast, leave for Kochi railway station or airport for your next destination.
