Itinerary
Day 01: Amritsar
Pick up from Amritsar railway station or airport and transfer to the hotel. On arrival, check-in the hotel and later visit India Pakistan Wagha Border for Flag Retreat Ceremony. Come to the hotel in the evening, have dinner. Overnight in the hotel at Amritsar.
Day 02: Amritsar Local Tour
After breakfast, a full day local city tour covering the Golden Temple, Jalianwala Bagh, Durgiana Temple, Lal Devi Temple, and Ranjit Singh Panorama. Overnight in the hotel at Amritsar.
Day 03: Amritsar - Jammu - Katra - 270 kms / 8 hrs by drive
After breakfast, leave for Katra en route visit Raghu Nath Temple in Jammu. On arrival, check-in the hotel and evening at leisure. Overnight in the hotel at Katra.
Day 04: Katra - Vaishno Devi Darshan
After breakfast trek to Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan ( 14 kms trek, 06 hrs by walk or helicopter facility from Katra to Bhawan is available or one can also go by horse ridding or by palanquins). Evening, Darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi Ji and after darshan proceeds for Bhairon Ji Darshan. Darshan of Bhairon Ji optional. If one wants to go there one can and 3 kms more trek from Vishno Devi Bhavan. Later start walking towards Katra. Overnight in the hotel at Katra.
Day 05: Katra - Dharamsala - 270 kms / 7 hrs by drive
After trek down from Vaishno Devi, have rest till 13:00 hrs, later drive for Dharmasala. On arrival in Dharmasala, overnight in the hotel at Dharamsala.
Day 06: Dharamsala Local - Mcleodganj
After breakfast, leave out for the full day city tour covering Dalai Lama Temple, Dal Lake, Naddi, Bagsunag Temple and Waterfall, Tibetan Library and museum in Norbulinka Institute. Overnight in the hotel at Dharamsala.
Day 07: Dharamsala - Chamunda Devi Temple - Jawala Mukhi - Chintpurni
After early morning breakfast, leave for darshan of Chamunda Devi( Goddess Chmunda), Jawalmukhi (Goddess Jawalji) and Chintpurni (Goddess Chintpurni). Later proceed for Hoshiarpur and overnight in the hotel at Hoshiarpur.
Day 08: Hoshiarpur - Naina Devi - Chandigarh
After breakfast, drive for Nainadevi (Goddess Naina Devi). Darshan of Naina Devi ( 3 kms trek by walk). After darshan, drive for Chandigarh. Overnight in the hotel at Chandigarh.
Day 09: Chandigarh Local
After breakfast, a full day local city tour covering the Rose Garden, Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake and Market Sector 17. Later proceed to Chandigarh airport or Chandigarh railway station or Ambala railway station or drop at Delhi.
