Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Delhi
Arrival in Delhi. On arrival assistance with traditional garland and Aarti Tikka (Tradition Indian welcome style) and transfer to hotel. Day at Leisure. Overnight in the hotel in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, a full day local city tour in Delhi covering Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Red Fort (closed on Monday), Gandhi Memorial, India Gate, Parliament House, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana. Overnight in the hotel in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Mandawa - 270 kms / 6/7 hrs drive
After breakfast, drive for Mandawa, later after check in to the hotel, visit the painted Havelis around. Overnight in the hotel at Mandawa.
Day 04: Mandawa - Jaipur - 170 kms / 4 hrs drive
After breakfast leave for Jaipur (Pink City), Arrival at Jaipur, check-in into the hotel. Later in the afternoon local city tour of Jaipur covering The City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal. Overnight in the hotel at Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur
After breakfast leave for excursion tour to Amber Fort, one can also enjoy elephant ride over there. Evening at leisure. Overnight in the hotel at Jaipur.
Day 06 : Jaipur - Agra - 230 kms / 5 hrs drive
After breakfast leave for Agra en-route visiting Fatehpur Sikri built by emperor Akbar in 1569. Later drive to Agra, Reach Agra, later city tour of Agra covering Taj Mahal and Agra Fort & Tomb of Itmad - ud- doula, overnight in the hotel at Agra.
Day 07: Agra - Jhansi - Khajuraho
After breakfast, early morning transfer to Agra Cantt railway station to board train Shatabdi Express for Jhansi. On arrival in Jhansi, proceed to Khajuraho (172 kms / 4 hrs drive) en-route visit Orchha. Proceed to Khajuraho. On arrival check-in hotel. Later proceed for city tour of Khajuraho visiting eastern & a western group of temples, built by Chandella rulers in the 10th century A.D. Overnight in hotel at Agra.
Day 08: Khajuraho - Varanasi
After early breakfast visit south block temples. Later transfer to the airport for flight to Varanasi. On arrival transfer to hotel. Evening "Deepmala tour " - a special tour where boat ride is given on river Ganges around sunset and earthen lamps are floated on the river. Overnight in the hotel at Varanasi.
Day 09: Varanasi
Early morning boat excursion on the holy river the Ganges to see the sunrise and morning prayers. Also, see the bathing ghats & cremation site. Watch people bathing & worshipping at the ghats which is one of the most extraordinary experiences of a visit to India. Return to hotel en-route visiting the small lanes and temples near the ghats. Breakfast at hotel. Later sight-seeing tour of Varanasi. Overnight in the hotel at Varanasi.
Day 10: Varanasi - Delhi
Transfer to Airport to board the flight for Delhi and later transfer to international airport to board the flight to your home country.
