Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Delhi
Arrival in Delhi. On arrival assistance with traditional garlanding and transfer to Hotel. Day at Leisure. Overnight in the hotel at Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, a full day local city tour in Delhi covering Jama Masjid, Chandi Chowk, Red Fort (closed on Monday), Gandhi Memorial, India Gate, Parliament House, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana. Overnight in the hotel in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra - 200 kms / 4 hrs drive
After breakfast, drive to Agra en-route visit Sikandra, arrival in Agra. Later after check-in the hotel, visit the world-famous beautiful Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Taj Mahal was built in 20 years and over 20,000 workers had worked in constructing it. Later visit the Agra Fort, Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Overnight in the hotel at Agra.
Day 04: Agra - Jaipur - 245 kms / 5 hrs drive
After breakfast, drive for the Pink City Jaipur, (The whole city was painted pink when the Prince of Wales, Edward VII, visited Jaipur in 1876), en-route visit Emperor Akbar deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, an almost perfectly preserved 400-Year-old Mughal capital. Later visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and lunch can have there. Arrival at Jaipur, evening at leisure. Overnight in the hotel at Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur
After breakfast, full day leave out for the sightseeing, starting from Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Afternoon tour of Jaipur visits Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight stay in the hotel at Jaipur.
Day 06: Jaipur - Pushkar - 150 kms / 3 hrs drive
After breakfast, drive to Pushkar transferred to the hotel for check-in. After some refreshments visit local sightseeing in Pushkar. Evening back to the hotel/camp. Overnight stay.
Day 07: Pushkar
Full day in Pushkar and enjoy the fair, if you are in the Pushkar during the fair time. Pushkar fair is much famous in India (where the mass trading of camels takes place). Also, visit "the Lord Brahma Temple", and a "picturesque lake'. Overnight in the hotel/Camp at Pushkar.
Day 08: Pushkar - Ajmer - Delhi - 8 hrs drive
After breakfast, leave for Delhi, en-route visit Ajmer Shariff dargah, which is the dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Muinuddin Chisty. It is indeed an ornament to the city of Ajmer. It is one of the holiest places of worship in India not only for the Muslims but also for the people of other faiths who hold the saint the high esteem and reverence. Later drive to Delhi, on arrival in Delhi, transfer to airport for your onward destination.
