Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Delhi
Arrival in Delhi. On arrival assistance with traditional garlanding and transfer to Hotel. Day at Leisure. Overnight in the hotel in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, a full day local city tour in Delhi covering Jama Masjid, Chandi Chowk, Red Fort (closed on Monday), Gandhi Memorial, India Gate, Parliament House, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana. Overnight in the hotel in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra - 200 kms / 4 hrs drive
After breakfast, drive to Agra en-route visit Sikandra, arrival in Agra. Later after check-in the hotel, visit the world-famous beautiful Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Taj Mahal was built in 20 years and over 20,000 workers had worked in constructing it. Later visit the Agra Fort, Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Overnight in the hotel at Agra.
Day 04: Agra - Jaipur - 245 kms / 5 hrs drive
After breakfast, drive for the Pink City Jaipur, (The whole city was painted pink when the Prince of Wales, Edward VII, visited Jaipur in 1876), en-route visit Emperor Akbar deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, an almost perfectly preserved 400-Year-old Mughal capital. Later visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and lunch can have there. Arrival at Jaipur, evening at leisure. Overnight in the hotel at Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur
After breakfast, full day leave out for the sightseeing, starting from Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Afternoon tour of Jaipur visits Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight stay in the hotel at Jaipur.
Day 06: Jaipur - Delhi - 260 kms / 5/6 hrs drive
After breakfast, leave for Delhi. On arrival in Delhi transfer to the hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight in the hotel in Delhi.
Day 07: Delhi - Chandigarh - 250 kms / 4 hrs by train
Early morning transfer to the railway station to board the train for Chandigarh. On arrival, transfer to the hotel and later local city tour in Chandigarh covering Rock Garden, Rose Garden, Sukhna Lake, Sector 17 Market. Overnight in the hotel at Chandigarh.
Day 08: Chandigarh - Shimla - 130 kms / 3/4 hrs drive
After breakfast, drive for Shimla. Arrival in Shimla and check in the hotel. Later full day local city tour covering The Mall, Jakhu Temple, Museum, Church, and The Ridge. Overnight in the hotel at Shimla.
Day 09: Shimla
After breakfast, a full-day excursion tour to Chail and Kufri. Later come back to Shimla and overnight in the hotel at Shimla.
Day 10: Shimla - Manali - 280 kms / 8 hrs drive
After breakfast leave for Manali. Arrival at Manali and evening at leisure. Overnight in the hotel at Manali.
Day 11: Manali
After breakfast, a full day local city tour of Manali covering. Full day local city tour of Kullu Manali covering Hidimba Temple or Dhungiri Temple, Jagatsukh, Manu Temple and Solang Valley. Overnight in the hotel at Manali.
Day 12: Manali - Rohtang
After breakfast, a full-day excursion to Rohtang Pass. Overnight in the hotel at Manali.
Day 13: Manali - Dharamsala - 245 kms / 6/7 hrs drive
After breakfast, drive to Dharmasala, en route visit Baijnath Shiva Temple. On arrival, check-in the hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Dharmasala.
Day 14: Dharamsala
After breakfast, full day local city tour Dharmasala and Mcleodganj covering Tsuglagkhang Temple (Dalai Lama Temple) Museum, Norbulinka Institute, Tibetan Library, Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (Bhagsunath), War Memorial, Dal Lake, and Naddi. Overnight in the hotel at Dharmasala.
Day 15: Dharamsala - Amritsar - 220 kms / 5/6 hrs drive
After breakfast, leave for Amritsar. On arrival, check-in the hotel later visit India - Pakistan Wagha Border for Retreat Ceremony. Later come back to the hotel. After dinner, visit the Golden Temple for the night wedding ceremony of the Golden Temple (it looks very beautiful under moonlight). Overnight in the hotel at Amritsar.
Day 16: Amritsar
After breakfast, a full day local city tour of Amritsar covering the Golden Temple (in daylight), Jalianwala Bagh, Durga Temple, Lal Devi Temple, and Ranjit Singh Panorama and Market. Overnight in the hotel at Amritsar.
Day 17: Amritsar - Delhi (by train or by air as per required)
Reach Delhi on arrival. Transfer to the airport to fly back to the home country.
