Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Delhi
Arrival in Delhi. On arrival, assistance with traditional garland and Aarti Tikka (Tradition Indian welcome style) and transfer to hotel. Day at Leisure. Overnight in the hotel in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, a full day local city tour in Delhi covering Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Red Fort (closed on Monday), Gandhi Memorial, India Gate, Parliament House, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana. Overnight in the hotel in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Srinagar
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the flight for Srinagar. On arrival at Srinagar Airport, transfer to Houseboat. Later in the afternoon take Shikara Ride in Dal Lake. Evening at Leisure. Overnight in the hotel/houseboat at Srinagar.
Day 04: Srinagar
After breakfast, a full day local city tour of Srinagar covering Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Jamia Masjid, Pir Dastir Shrine, and Sri Partap Singh Museum. Evening at leisure and overnight in houseboat/hotel at Srinagar.
Day 05 : Srinagar - Gulmarg - 60 kms / 2 hrs drive
After breakfast, a full-day excursion tour to Gulmarg - the 'Meadow of Flowers' is an apt term for this idyllic flower-laden meadow offering a spectacular view of towering snow-capped peaks covered with dense forests of tall conifers and gigantic fir and pine trees. Visit one of the world's highest golf course. Later come back to Srinagar. Overnight in the hotel/houseboat at Srinagar.
Day 06 : Srinagar - Sonamarg - 90 kms / 3 hrs drive
After breakfast, full-day excursion to Sonamarg (Meadow of gold). One can also enjoy there with ice skating and a pony ride. Later come back to Srinagar and overnight in the hotel at Srinagar.
Day 07: Srinagar - Delhi
Transfer to the airport to board the flight for Delhi.
