Itinerary
Day 01: Arriving Delhi
Arrival in Delhi. On arrival assistance with traditional garland and Aarti Tikka (Tradition Indian welcome style) and transfer to Hotel. Day at Leisure. Overnight in the hotel in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast, a full day local city tour in Delhi covering Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Red Fort (closed on Monday), Gandhi Memorial, India Gate, Parliament House, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana. Overnight in the hotel in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Bagdogra - Darjeeling - 100 kms / 3 hrs drive
After breakfast, leave for the airport to board the flight to Bagdogra. On arrival in Bagdogra, transfer to Darjeeling by private car. On arrival, check-in the hotel and evening at leisure. Overnight in the hotel at Darjeeling.
Day 04: Darjeeling
After an early morning wakes up call, leave for Tiger Hill, later visit Ghoom Monastery. The toy train ride is optional from Ghoom to Darjeeling. Later in the afternoon visit Tea Garden, Museum and Botanical Garden. Overnight in the hotel at Darjeeling.
Day 05: Darjeeling - Gangtok - 100 kms / 3 hrs drive
After breakfast, drive for Gangtok. On arrival, check-in the hotel. Later in the afternoon visit Enchey Monastery. Evening at Leisure. Overnight stay in the hotel at Gangtok.
Day 06: Gangtok
Today morning, you will take to visit the Tashi viewpoint to view Kanchenjunga and other snow ranges. Later visit Rumtek Monastery, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology and Do-Drul Chorten. Overnight in the hotel at Gangtok.
Day 07: Gangtok - Kalimpong - Siliguri - 115 kms / 3 hrs drive
After breakfast, leave for Siliguri, en route visit monasteries town, Kalimpong. You can visit the Thongsa Monastery, Tharpa Choling, and the Yellow Hat. Later drive for Siliguri. On arrival, check-in the hotel, evening at leisure and overnight in the hotel at Siliguri.
Day 08: Siliguri - Bagdogra - 20 kms / 0.5 hrs drive
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, transfer to international airport for flight back home or take your optional tour for other destinations in India.
